Barcelona reject £24m Everton bid for forward, as Euro club begin talks which could help Arsenal

Barcelona have reportedly rejected a £24million bid for Vitor Roque from Everton, and Sporting CP have since entered the frame for him, in a move which could help Arsenal out.

After just 16 games at Barcelona, 19-year-old Roque could be pushed out. The La Liga giants only brought him in from Athletico Paranaense in January, but have decided he s not for them.

They want to make money this summer, and though Roque is seen as a player with a high ceiling, and scored two goals within his first five league games at Barca, he will be sacrificed.

It s believed the La Liga giants want at least £26million to allow him to leave. Everton bid just under that, in the region of £24million, but have reportedly had their offer knocked back, with Barca deeming the fee too low…

Former Liverpool team-mate helps Salah make final Reds decision: ‘Even if it means more money’

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah is reportedly against a move to the Saudi Pro League after watching Sadio Mane s spell in the Middle East.

Salah’s goal meant for the first time in his eight seasons at the club he had found the net in the opening three matches of the campaign.

He does not appear to be troubled by the fact he has yet to receive a renewal offer to extend a contract which is due to expire in the summer and, having set a new record of 20-plus goals for seven-successive seasons, his start to the new campaign means he is already well on his way to extending that.

There have been many rumours over the past couple of years that he could leave Liverpool before the end of his contract in the summer of 2025.

Insider rates Arsenal chances of January Osimhen transfer, amid break clause and reduced fee

Arsenal insider Charles Watts has rated the likelihood of the club going after Victor Osimhen in the summer, with a break clause and reduced fee helping their case.

Osimhen has been linked with some of the Premier League s biggest sides of late. Chelsea made genuine attempts to get him through the door in the summer, while the Gunners have also been mentioned.

But for the minute, he is on loan at Galatasaray, after being pushed out by Napoli. In the Nigerian s first game, he thought he had scored, before the goal was attributed to Abdulkerim Bardakci.

In any case, his performance has roused fans of some clubs, with Arsenal mentioned, and insider Watts rating the chances that they go after the striker in January.

Roy Keane likens Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal tactics to four Premier League ‘dinosaurs’

Roy Keane has compared Mikel Arteta s tactics against Manchester City to four Premier League dinosaurs after Arsenal tried hanging in there .

The defending champions needed a last-gasp John Stones equaliser deep into stoppage time against the 10-man Gunners in an absorbing Premier League contest at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

That brought relief for Man City after a frustrating second period in which the visitors had sat back to protect a 2-1 lead earned before Leandro Trossard was sent off for a second bookable offence.

, runners-up for the past two seasons, did their best to disrupt and slow City, not only by playing deep but by time-wasting at every opportunity.

Manchester United legend Keane likened Arsenal s style in the second half to those tact…

California Tribes Vote Down Sports Betting Initiatives

Two ballot initiatives have little to no chance of being approved in the state as the California Nations Indian Gaming Association unanimously voted them down this week.

Two California sports betting ballot initiatives were submitted to the Attorney General’s office in late October, with both seeking to give sports betting exclusivity to California tribes and keep non-tribal operators out of the state.

However, California tribes had nothing to do with putting the initiatives together, and the majority of tribes in the state vehemently oppose the potential legislation.

West Flagler Submits Final Brief, SCOTUS to Decide on Florida Sports Betting
